A Brief Introduction

I am a Software Applications Trainer with over six years of experience in corporate training and curriculum development. I hold Associate Degrees in Business Administration and Business Computer Programming.

As a trainer, I have had the opportunity to work with numerous organizations on a variety of projects. While employed with Tiger Direct, I served as the primary training resource for new hires and assured that they received the training required from other departments as needed. I developed training material and delivery methods to speed the process as much as possible, while managing the Call-in Order Entry department and serving as the Customer Service Team Lead. I supervised 2-6 people.

During my career, I have trained employees at such companies as IBM, Lockheed Martin and the Columbia South Carolina Board of Education's Administrative Offices.

For two years, IBM's largest Education and Training Center requested that I assist them as they upgraded employees to Lotus Notes 4.x. I trained approximately 5000 people over the course of 24 months.

Furthermore, I have developed Word Pro 97 Intermediate, Word Pro 97 Advanced and Freelance Graphics Intermediate curriculum for IBM in 1998-2000. Also, during 1999 right through the year 2001 I have been the main trainer for Microsoft Project 98. The Microsoft Project 98 Introduction course is accredited through George Washington University and earns college credit for those students working toward their Project Management Certification.

As a trainer, I have been called upon to learn, develop curriculum for, and train a variety of software applications. A good trainer, is well versed in the subject matter, understands the needs of the students, uses a variety of teaching methods, and is always open to learning more. In addition to these qualities, I simply love to train. My resume follows this brief introduction. I look forward to working with your organization.
